REQUEST: "Gold Digger's Dream now at your local radio station. J.W. CUDD SETS RECORD FOR BECOMING THE YOUNGEST CHARTED TEXAS ARTIST. "Let's Put Our Hearts Together" peaked at #26 on the charts. Thank you to everyone for enduring the cold and enjoying the show with J.W. when he opened up for Robert Earl Keen, along with Jack Ingram and at Concrete Street on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7pm. J.W. enjoyed performing live for the Habitat for Humanity on October 30th at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, Tx. J.W. Cudd and band "Under Pressure" have been together for over two years. J.W. and the band have performed multiple concerts for various charity events including the U.S.O., Al Amin Shriner's Hospital for Children, and several scholarship foundations. J.W. and his band members Felix, Red, Gilbert, and Matt are a close bunch and rehearsals are usually very entertaining, even before the music starts. The band has been booked at events such as Bayfest, S. Texas Opry, the Refugio Opry, and various dance halls far and wide throughout Texas. J.W. and the other musicians enjoy nothing more than performing live. Their love for music is reflected in the crowd's reaction to them. J.W. feels fortunate to have found four professional musicians that are highly qualified to play any genre of music but have settled into his progressive country style. J.W. and several of the band members also enjoy songwriting. It is fascinating and inspiring when the songwriters and professional musicians collaborate and create the art of music, especially that people enjoy. This past summer J.W. toured Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico. One of his final stops on the tour, was New Orleans, Louisiana. J.W., his family, and his band members wish to express their concern and sorrow for the catastrophes which struck New Orleans, Mississippi, Alabama, and the fine people of East Texas. Thoughts and prayers from J.W. Cudd and his team go out to all of those affected.
